In the touristic district of Nicotera, among other receptive realities of international importance you can find the camping village “La Porta del Sole”, ituated in San Ferdinando, on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, between Tropea and Scilla, in front of the Eolie Islands, near to Capo Vaticano and Gerace, close to the Jonian coast and to Sicily.Seaside, nature and peacefulness, are the main distinctive features of this place, completely plunged in the green colour of its eucalyptuses, tamarisks, and its charming pine-wood.The structure of the village camping is expanding on a 40.000 square meters area, through the sea. The wide beach, with its golden sand, stretches for 4 km as far as the little touristic port of Nicotera, where you can see the suggestive cliffs of Capo Vaticano.
